Kampala (Uganda), 07/24/2010 (SPS) The President of the Republic, SG Polisario, Mohamed Abdelaziz arrived Saturday morning to Kampala to participate alongside their peers in the work of the 15th African summit African Union (AU), which opens Sunday, officials said a source close to the presidential delegation.

On his arrival at Entebbe International Airport (Uganda), President of the Republic, Mohamed Abdelaziz was received by senior officials and managers, headed by Dr. Crispus Kiyonga Kiyonga, Minister of Defence Government of Uganda.

After greeting Ugandan military units had arrived to render honors, Mr. Abdelaziz has led to the VIP lounge where he held talks with Ugandan officials. The discussed were related to bilateral relations between the two countries, the Saharawi Republic and the Republic of Uganda, especially the important issues and topics to be raised at the summit of Heads of State and Government.

The 15th AU summit will last three days under the theme "Maternal, newborn and child health and development in Africa" in addition to other points in particular to consider the report of the Commissioner of the African Union Mr. Jean Ping.
